I removed the old cherry-colored varnish and carefully sanded the entire surface to bring out the natural look of the wood. Then I treated it with wax to protect it and make it suitable for year-round use on the balcony.
This light and airy white chair was transformed from an old GDR-era piece that had lost its charm. The metal frame and springs were kept, as they were still in good condition, while all the soft parts were replaced. The chair was reupholstered with a beautiful white boucé fabric. The wooden legs and armrests were stripped of the old varnish and finished with oil and wax to preserve their natural color and durability.
This beautiful cabinet, over 100 years old, had lost several of its original parts and details over time. We carried out careful restoration work to bring it back to life. The client wanted to see it in a fresh blue color, giving the piece a new character while preserving its charm. The back panel of the cabinet was also decorated with wallpaper to add a unique finishing touch.
I removed the old upholstery and replaced all the inner materials, including the foam and padding. I cleaned the wooden legs and armrests from the old varnish, then treated them with oil and wax, keeping their natural color. I also changed the fabric — the seat is now covered with a solid color, while the other parts feature a patterned material.
This set of three chairs was newly purchased, but the clients weren’t happy with the original fabric. We reupholstered them with a new material, which gave the chairs a fresh and more interesting look, highlighting the beauty of their design.
