Paid separately, a separate contract is concluded.
Authorial supervision includes:
— Regular visits by the project author (from 4 to 7 times a month)
— Consultations with the customer, responsible persons or contractors, as well as monitoring compliance with the terms of the design project
— Necessary communication with the foreman (builder) on site, including by phone in reference to design project (consultations on all provided sketches/plans)
— Making the necessary changes to the project in connection with the circumstances identified during the dismantling of old partitions and the construction of new partitions, leveling the ceiling and floor
— Visual inspection at site to ensure compliance with design project, that includes: location and dimensions of erected structures (walls and openings), electrical wiring connections (sockets, switches, electrical outlets), plumbing wiring connections, correct placement of ceiling cornices and other ceiling finishing elements, selection of type and color of paints for painting walls and ceilings, correct placement of wall panels and other wall finishing materials, compliance of laying floor coverings in accordance with construction contract, correct placement of doors and openings, correct installation locations of lighting fixtures, correct placement of furniture, correct placement of plumbing fixtures , correct hanging of curtains and placement of textiles, correct placement of accessories and art objects
— If necessary, selection of finishing materials, furniture, interior items, lighting, and plumbing
— If necessary, an estimate is drawn up based on the chosen style solution and the price category of the product, indicating: articles, brands, manufacturers, suppliers and possible designer discounts (subject to separate payment for the work on drawing up the estimate)
Authorial supervision is not technical supervision. The designer does not check the quality of construction work, does not advise the foreman on construction and engineering solutions, and does not monitor the timing of construction work.
