This three-bedroom apartment project was ordered by a young couple with a child. The apartment was inherited by the customers and we tried to preserve the feeling of a family nest.
The apartment is an old housing stock (1930-s). The pomp of the entrance stairs gradually moves from public spaces into the residential private rooms of the apartment. We wanted to support the high ceilings with stucco molding with engineered boards of a noble color.
The customers really wanted to equip the kitchen-living room without changing the location of the interior partitions, and we made it happen. The kitchen accommodated not only cabinets with all the necessary equipment, a dining table, a sofa, but also a buffet for the customer’s holiday dishes.
The nursery for the clients’ two-year-old daughter was immediately designed for “outgrowth”, so we installed a work desk and shelving unit, a bed with a 120 cm wide mattress, and a large spacious wardrobe.
The master bedroom has three zones: a sleeping place, a dressing table and a reading chair. But we also built a spacious dressing room for the customer, who had been long dreaming about it.
The apartment has another large room, which it was decided to use as the client’s office, and eventually adapt it to a second children’s room.
