3-bedroom apartment in the old town of Moscow

The customers were two wonderful women: mother and daughter. A three-room apartment in the old part of Moscow is meant to become their comfortable and cozy nest.

The clients sought a bright space to place their numerous photos, paintings and posters. To get the feeling of a home with history, we decided to use a ceiling cornice and plinth of the same height. The chosen color was warm engineered wood and bright carpets.
To decorate the walls, we used fairly light and discreet paint, but in the furniture pieces it was decided to use a lot of color and combine them with existing paintings and photos of the client. It was decided to repeat the color of the kitchen cabinets in the doors to the built-in cabinets.

The customer's daughter, a young student, is interested in stories about Sherlock Holmes and loves to read. In order to organize a large amount of storage space, we designed a podium with the same height of the window sill and placed a storage system at the bottom and a sleeping area at the top.
